  VACANCY NOTICE The VIRGIN ISLANDS DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE is seeking individuals to serve as SPECIAL AGENT in the District of St. Thomas/St. John and the District of St. Croix. In addition to other duties, the Special Agent shall conduct investigations of alleged or suspected violations of federal or local laws, interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare reports that detail investigative findings, testify in court proceedings, provide protection for witnesses, serve subpoenas, and collaborate with other law enforcement agencies. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice or no less than (5) years’ experience as a law enforcement officer. • Sworn peace officer in the Virgin Islands • No prior criminal records. Background checks required COMPENSATION: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
